Cel Gelijke Kansen
A social project "Expertendatabank" for Cel Gelijke Kansen in Vlaanderen.
Female, transgender, foreign and disabled specialists and experts are well represented in our society, but are taken too little into consideration in the media. This website aims to promote and increase their visibility in the media. This site also encourages the media to better spread knowledge about equal opportunities amongst the population.
Only journalists and program makers can consult this website. They may only use the data for journalistic purposes: to support programs, write articles or collect background information. They may consult the database for free.
Experts - they must woman, transgender, from ethnic minorities or having a functional disability- can submit their data in the database. The same applies to organizations that work around the themes of gender and holebisexuality and around the disadvantaged women, transgender, ethnic minorities and persons with functional disabilities. The latter are people who are limited in their daily activities or are impeded by a long-term sickness, a handicap or a physical or mental disorder.
PeopleWare is proud that the site received the Belgian Quality Label for Accessible Internet Sites "Anysurfer". Anysurfer monitors the accessibility for internet user with motorial and auditive restrictions, blind persons and elderly people.
